Enneagram Learning Community  

The Enneagram Learning Community is a study group that meets monthly with the purpose of creating a safe place whcere individuals can delve more deeply into the rich teachings of the Enneagram and utilize this roadmap for their personal and spiritual growth. It is for those who want to be challenged, enlightened, enriched and have some fun along the way. 

The Enneagram is an ancient and universal model of human development and transformation.  It describes three centers of intelligence, nine personality types, and twenty-seven “subtypes” that provide an amazingly accurate picture of the patterns associated with the way we function. The Enneagram can be a profound map for personal evolution if we are willing, through self-observation and reflection, to wake up to our unconscious patterns and loosen the grip of our automatic behaviors.

This 2017 Enneagram Series is entitled Cultivating an Awakened Heart: Working With the Virtues of the Enneagram. In this series, we will explore the specific journey of the heart of each of the nine points on the Enneagram.  We will study one type each month, its gifts and higher qualities in relation to its passion/suffering, how they come together and what happens when they do. We will discover the provocative work of holding and reconciling the polarities within ourselves, of staying openhearted to transform these contradictions. We will see how virtues are a natural expression of an awakened heart, not forcing us to be more virtuous or saintly but more profoundly human. Join us if you are interested in a renewed commitment to being more present, more awake, especially a more awakened heart.  The body of work presented in this series will be based upon the work of Russ Hudson, Peter O’Hanrahan, Sandra Maitri, and other teachers of the Enneagram.  Facilitated by Deborra Clark Oser, a certified Teacher of the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition.
